I've been to a few sex/swinger clubs in the Toronto area and have never had a bad time. The one that I really like has a main bar area, big dance floor with a few stripper poles around the outskirts, a comfortable seating area with couches and easy chairs, and (the best part) a separate "back room" for sex and liaisons.
The "back room" has two big common change rooms with locking lockers then you go down a hallway to the shower if you choose. Past that are a few private rooms that have picture windows that can be curtained off from the inside if you are shy. Then we come to four or five coves that house beds, a bit of privacy can be obtained by drawing a gauze curtain or you can leave it open to show off. Right in the very back is the large, open common area that consists of about fifteen beds all pushed side by side to create one huge wide bed to be used by who-ever is in the mood.
There are big bowls of condoms everywhere and even a couple water coolers to quench your thirst.

Never been to one myself..... but wondering if such clubs exist in Australia?
Hello, My husband and I are 16 years swingers. From 2004 till 2010 We actually worked at a swing club here in the Pittsburgh area. This club is a couples only traditional swing club. As a host couple we give the new members that join there "newbee" tour. Answer questions and in some cases calm nerves. We have 10 private rooms, a group area and a large hot tub in its own room. Dinner dancing and very Social. A typical party has 100-120 couples. not all play and many are there for a number of different reasons. Some enjoy dressing super sexy, ways you could not do at a typical bar. Others do just the social and meet and get to know who is around. Others are in to private rooms and even the group area were if you like to be watched its encouraged and or join in. But it always by request. No ones pushy we do not allow that, a polite no thank you, means just that. It is considered rude to ask why. Sex club? Sure, I have been to many of them with my husband or a date, lots of fun if you have the right attitude, horrible if you don't.

Unless you have someone specific you are meeting then your first visit should be just to check it out. These places vary & they can also vary by night/event. The club I frequent every few months has BSDM nights, couples mingle & date nights, bisexual nights, them party nights.... Pick the wrong night & it gets awkward, or maybe really interesting...
Also understand there are a lot of others at these clubs who are just checking it out, or who are voyeurs & exibitionists. These couples, or singles are not there to actually have sex with others. Others are shy or slow to warm up. Point being here the building is not filled with a mass of hedonists pawing at each others naked bodies. Relax, smile, chat people up if you like, and enjoy the atmosphere.
