... and you want to talk to a mom who supports you: http://standwithtrans.org/ally-moms/

this has been a PSA because you are loved.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

... and live in the Midwest...

Lots of people love you all. If you're in the Kansas City Metro area here's a good site.

Saw this earlier but was running out the door. I was really expecting this thread to have a few more posts in it by now...

I don't have a resource to post, but I am absolutely saying thanks to sprite and Green_Man and sending out my own good thoughts and support to the entire trans, nonbinary, gender fluid/queer/nonconforming community as well. All the hugs (for anyone who wants them).

... and are thinking of college...

Just wanted to post this and I guess this is a great place to do it.

This place is very familiar to me. I used to attend the University of Missouri located in the same town at this women's college. It is the second oldest women's college in the United States.

They are admitting transgender women students beginning in August of 2019.

Thanks Sprite. Both my Mom and sister know that I'm trans and they tell me they love me everyday
Very much in favour of the provision of support for young trans people, as it must be a very confusing time. But it would be good to have more support for older people, who may discover themselves late in life. Often this leads to conflict with others, and rejection and loneliness. Whilst online can be a massive support, like Lush, real life advice can make such a difference too.
I started crossdressing very young and quickly became addicted t it. All these years later I am still trying to wrap my head around the mixture of emotions that go along with it.
