Cover Disappeared

Has this happened to anyone before? My Pussycat Park series just had the cover image for every chapter disappeared. All the same cover, but it isn’t in my existing covers anymore either.

For reference, I had two designed that were pretty much the same with different font covers. So it was pretty much this, don’t think there would be any reason to take it down.

Very odd. There's no reference to it in your media folders, and no note on your account about it being removed, and as you say, there's nothing wrong with the cover itself. It's like it never existed. How strange.

Not sure what to suggest aside from asking one of us to relink them with the reuploaded image. There are a lot of parts aren't there?

Yeah, 17 including the one up for review right now. I can edit the one I put above and head on through and attach it to everything. Wanted to make sure there wasn’t something weirdly against the TOS or reason it disappeared before I did.

And new weird bug on that story... Chapter 16 (Girl's Night) somehow became chapter 1 and the rest got bumped up? Don't really know what's happening with that. I don't think it was that way after it was published a few weeks ago.

That I was able to fix quickly myself editing the series. Just another weird thing that happened all at once.

Not as far as I can see. I can't even figure how any of that would happen.

When editing the covers, would I need each chapter to be taken down and reapproved with every edit? I added the cover back to the chapter currently under review.

Yes, unfortunately. I was hoping a faster route might be if you could find a willing mod who would run through each chapter and attach the same pic from your album, but I just tried it and it only allows me to pick from my media album. I can't see a way to associate a URL with your story either, otherwise we might be able to hack it and assign the given URL of the already-uploaded image.

The only potentially faster route would be to let one of the dev team link the stories to the image URL at the database level. The trouble is getting hold of them as they're super busy at the moment.

I've got a few spare moments now so if you're at a stage you can attach each one and resubmit, I'll shove them back on the site straight away. Otherwise, it'll have to be much later or you'll have to sweet talk another mod as I'm going out in 15 mins.

Miss Curious was kind enough to help me! She was able to attach them quickly enough.
