Disconnecting from site on mobile

Since the latest update, my phone disconnects from the site anytime I open a different tab/window on my phone. That never used to happen. It's interfering with chats.

Can I have more details please. What update and when? Have you tried the usual clear down of your device/browser cache, cookies etc. and perhaps a different browser?

The site was down a couple weeks ago for an update. The problem has been happening since then. I've cleared the cache, etc. with no improvement. I haven't tried a different browser. But I only use one browser on my phone. If I'm in a chatroom and get a text outside of the site and try to check that text or email or whatever, it disconnects me from the chat. It often reloads, but I miss messages and my chat partners see that I'm leaving and reentering.

I downloaded another browser and the issue continued there.

Have you tried over wi-fi and your providers network?

I have, yes. I will just have to deal with it, I guess.
