I say take all the time you need. What an amazing number of great entries! Like Free Spirit, this has turned into an incredible competition.
I think I have finally read every story, but even just reading them all one time took quite a while! Can't imagine the effort in trying to winnow them down and pick winners.

Jen said Friday but the day is winding down in most places and it's already Saturday for the Down Under crowd so not sure. Might get bumped to Monday if we don't hear soon would be my best guess.
