Our big news for today is that our youngest daughter and her partner are moving out today, having completed the purchase of their first place yesterday. 😊 Apart from a brief false dawn in 2019, this will be the first time our house will be child-free since 1996. 😲🤣

I love them, really... I just prefer them in their own homes, moving on with their lives even if they have raided the bank of Mum and Dad to do so! Not sure if I have a tab, but if not, I'm standing at the bar, wallet in hand! 😳😊

Mine moved out for university 7 years ago and never really came back save for a few months during the pandemic. He is married and lives a few hours away so we don't see them in person often but have a video call every 2-3 weeks to catch up.

Worked for my parents. Moved my youngest brother into my room and turned the room he was in, which was really meant as a den, not a bedroom, anyhow into a sitting/TV room. They ended up with me back anyhow the summer I had appendicitis. 😋

When I moved out of my parents' home many years ago, my old bedroom was converted into a dining room within a week! They were taking no chances that I wanted to move back (I never did). However, it was something I found amusing, and I took it with me, managing to incorporate that experience into one of my stories. 😊 The Three Of Us - Chapter 2:- A New Routine

After the third time we had one of our kids move back home, once they left, we did as Kimmi suggested, and changed the purpose of both of their bedrooms and took out the beds, putting other furniture in instead.

It seemed to work.

There's a reason why they were called the Yo-Yo generation…

And speaking of Yo… it's a yoga day today, so I'll be out in back seeing if'n I can't encourage some sweet young things to bend and twist with me.

Stopping in for some tea on this busy Thursday. Skipping the goodies because my daughter's wedding is less than four months away. 😎🥰

Off to the gym. Then a swim in my pool. Then a hair appointment. Then back to the condo to check on the progress of contractors (fence installers and the electricians who will redo the lighting under the building).

A quiet day at work today since my client’s closed. I hope to get a lot of work done on their newest acquisition. Go-live is October.

I’ll be in my corner writing. I have an idea for SS (and a call for submissions). My story’s about man who buys a house where the previous owner passed, and the house was sold furnished. He finds stack of old letters in a desk, addressed, but never sent. Struggles with opening, finding lady addressed to, or just tossing. What’s in the letters haunts him and why did man keep them but never mail them? It draws parallels to a woman in his life he struggles to say things to.

Kimmi, you could adapt that engaging storyline to be suitable for both sites. Just a few adjustments along the way as you write both stories in parallel. Has anyone ever tried doing that? 🙄

I’ve written a few to both sites, short ones. But I’m not into writing sex right now. Wouldn’t fit right in the story for here if I had to force a spot for sex. Great suggestion, though! Maybe you could write one for both sites?

I have written stories in 49 genres, if you count I/F, which I know is not needed. The ones I have left to do are College Sex, Cuckold, Medical, Mind Control, Occupations, Supernatural, Teen, Trans and Uniform. So nine to go, still quite a way. I was going to get it done this year, but I might let it slide to early next year, as I want to get back to writing my next David, Clare and Sarah book, which will include at least two or three of these genres. 😊

What I can say is my next standalone story will be "most probably" in the Occupations genre. I had hoped to write that this month, but R/L (good things) seems to be stopping me at the moment. The only one that I have no interest in is "Trans", but hey, I'm sure I will think of something, but it's likely going to be a short story. Maybe it will get the most likes! 🤣

One other thing I can now whisper is that the last story that I write to receive my Omnium Badge will be something "slightly" different! 😳🙄
