About
Patriarchal English male who delights in all forms of female interaction. At my age, I can't help being interested in younger women (because most are). So roll up all you youngsters - regardless of what it says on the clock - who say you have a ‘thing’ about older men. Who am I to object? But please note, I am not looking for a wife. Committed friendship is another matter entirely.
Warning. I’m not ageing ‘gracefully’. It’s a myth that libido lessens with age, a myth I'm reminded of daily.
While I'm a died in the wool hetero (sorry chaps), I have a growing sympathy with the Sapphic priesthood. After all, I'm into women in every sense so why ignore women with a similar interest? One of my fantasies is being taken in hand by a descendent of Sappho and shown around the nooks and crannies of her ‘other’ world. But don't be deterred, straight sisters. I am told, there’s many a good tune played on this old fiddle.
Other interests (in no particular order) include music, writing, reading (obsessively), podcast watching and listening, exercising my e-bike, cooking (with a glass of plonk), photography, mowing the lawn, the study of history & public affairs and (did I mention it?) sex. Giving pleasure to the adult human female is not only an overarching interest but a vocation.
And then there's chatting - about anything and everything. The world's a lovely big place, full of human odds and sods of every imaginable (and sometimes unimaginable) kind so there's no shortage of topics. Conversation before, during and after a coital interlude is in a league of its own.
Footnote: most verbal communication on this site makes use of the language we inherit from Shakespeare, Cleland, Austen and Hemmingway (among others). While most of us may never scale these linguistic heights, a basic understanding of modern English grammar and syntax, really does make communication easier even in text-message-style exchanges. If I simply don't understand what you're trying to say, I reserve the right to close down any link we might have. Life is too short to do otherwise.
