the attitude of the serial dick pic senders is "I did it, I'ma gonna do it some more, and you can't stop me."
Please illuminate me if I'm missing something.
That is harassment, which should be reported, as clearly stated numerous times. Harassment is not tolerated, and we will action reports of harassment
Do you feel illuminated yet?

That’s enforceable under the current rules, but only if the moderators are willing to act.
"Only if the moderators are willing to act"?? Sorry, that is bullshit. Harassment is taken very seriously. There is no "if", it's "when" the report is picked up, it will be dealt with according to the members moderation history.
However, the percentage of members that let things slide without wanting the site to step in is higher than we would all like. Sometimes it's good, because they deal with it themselves.
Comments making out like we don't really care will only drive that number up. let's not do that. We do care, and we do deal with harassment appropriately.

Speaking of unwanted dick pics what about unwanted solicitation... just had a guy random mail me asking my name and then instantly ask me off site .. I feel pretty safe on lush and im fairly smart even given my age but i worry about predators....
Same procedure as above. Report and we can deal with those.
in this case, its likely a scammer that unfortunately slipped through the net.

With all due respect, I really don't think that claim is true. I have posted yes but I haven't expressed a view on whether I think it is unreasonable or not. Furthermore the vast majority of the collective moderation team (moderators/senior moderators/admin) on the site haven't posted in this thread.
You stated earlier in this thread for recipients to tell the offenders to stop and also to report as/when it happens again. That is expressing a view to it being unreasonable. No?
Granted, the collective Mod & Admin team hasn't said anything on this thread in particular. Which is fine, then don't have to if they don't want to. Regardless of individual opinion, there is a large enough portion of customers, not just on this thread, which believe it is unacceptable, unwelcome and state that they don't feel entirely 'safe'.

Hi all, not read all the posts but what if there was somewhere that recipients of said dick-pics could post the names of the senders so to make them known to all?
No. This would create a whole thread of nastiness where people will be getting bashed, based on potentially one mistake. It would also be considered harassment in the other direction.
Use the reporting feature, block them and let us deal with it with the procedures which work, and have been in place since before I became a Moderator.

Respectfully we shouldn't have to say stop, if we haven't outright provided consent or asked for said picture from the outset then an image like that shouldn't be sent.
I block them immediately after I respond to them telling them how pathetic they are. So they can't do it to me again for me to then report according to your advice above. But they then move on to the next person and repeat the cycle.
Reporting any one member creates a paper trail.
The reports on a member are logged and can be viewed by anyone on the Moderation and Admin team, which enables us to see a trend in actions for any members site wide.
If you report someone tomorrow, then Jane Doe and Joanne Bloggs reports the same person next week and the week after, this gives us clear justification to take action, using the multiple phase procedure I mentioned at the bottom of the previous page.
Also, the mention of documentation on the fact; In the meantime of official documents being amended, please refer anyone to this thread in future. Various mods from across the site, Senior Mods & Admin are all in agreement within this thread, making this thread a reference point for the sites stance on unsolicited images of genitals.
That includes both male and female, BTW, as it's not just the blokes that do it, though it's just them which are getting a bashing right now - the few 'uber-lesbians' with 'girly clitty dicks' and vaginas that look like someone has stamped on a kebab have escaped the slander - for now.
Ultimately, you (the collective members) are responsible for your own online safety. As unpaid volunteers, we are only able to back you up once the correct procedures have been taken.

@wannabewordsmith does this mean that every report is then filed with police since it is a sex crime?
Here on Lush, as I'm sure you area aware; we have certain subjects which are instantly bannable on a permanent basis, where assistance of local authorities is requested - as/when needed.
Otherwise, as I'm sure you are also aware; we use a stepping-stone procedure for onsite enforcement of rules where anyone fails to comply with the T's & C's and AUP. This can lead to an educational and friendly warning or a permanent ban from the site without notice depending on the severity of the offence.
In the UK, (where the site is based, and the law which Lush sets it's standards off of) 'cyberflashing' is illegal, and considered a sexual crime. So, by accepting the T's & C's and also agreeing to the AUP, nobody should be sending unsolicited images.
If you are in a Forum, Chatroom, or Group, then you are likely going to find what you are searching for - or there abouts.
Send us snacks and flowers, not your little willies.
