Bump bump bump. I'll leave this up for another week or so. Tell all your friends who don't have memberships 😘

All these stories of sun and sea and the occasional alien, because why the heck not, has put me firmly into vacation mode. As always, the story quality on display was delightful to see. Before I get to the winners, I want to give a big thank you to the person who shortlisted this comp. We try to rotate this as much as we can, and it's a big undertaking given the number of entries, so my heartfelt thanks to them, and of course to all the judges who gave me their feedback.

Without further ado though, let me get to the winners. First and second place actually tied on points, but the winner placed first more often and therefore takes first place overall. So very well done to JP Sinister, with his beautifully told tale, Breath Becomes Air.

Coming a very, very close second, is Carlton St James, with his highly entertaining romp, Fucked In The Head.

And completing our leaderboard this time, we have the always exceptional Jaymal, with his saucy tale, Thank You, Paradise.

I'll be in touch with you all over the next day or two, regarding your prizes.

Very well done to everyone else who made the top ten for this competition, and to everyone who took part, read, commented, encouraged... and masturbated. Your efforts are all appreciated 😇

The full list of winners:

1. Breath Becomes Air by JP Sinister

2. Fucked In The Head by Carlton St James

3. Thank you, Paradise by Jaymal

4. Salt and Surrender by LostCoyote

5. The One Who Stayed by Obsolete_Fox

6. Let's Get Off by WannabeWordsmith

7. Munkholmen by Dogme

8. Faithful Enough by KatieTheWriter

9. Beneath by Sea48

10. Salt In The Wound, Honey On The Tongue by Peter_Ashford

A new competition will be announced shortly. Until then, if you're interested in winning a gold membership, check out this forum here.

Hiya, it's really up to you. We accept stories of up to 10,000 words per chapter, so just split it up depending on the length and natural breaks. Or feel free to upload it as one chapter if it's less than 10,000.

Dust 'em off, load 'em up. It's June, so be proud and get your rainbow on. Let's decorate this place with a little colour and a little love.

If you change your avatar to something rainbow themed, post a pic of it here for a chance to win a gold membership for a year. If you already have gold or platinum, you can feel free to donate it to someone else, and Sprite might just send you nudes to reward your good deed.

Well, she might. Haven't asked her yet... 🤭

This competition is a bit random and the judge (probably me) is totally open to bribes, so feel free to leave a bribe alongside your picture. I like cookies. And diamonds. You don't have to bribe me. I may respect you more if you don't.

The closing date is sometime later in the month and I might randomly make up other rules as we go along. Who knows.

❤️🧡💛💚💙🩷💜

Ps. If you like to change your avatar a lot, that's fine. Just post one here and you'll be entered into the draw. You don't need to keep the same one up the whole month.

I think italics might work best for that sort of thing. I've seen stories before with journal entries or letters, and italics works well for it. Visually, I definitely prefer it to quotes for a longer piece.

Overnight oats with strawberries and mango.

As I said in the other thread, it's not against lush rules. The law is aimed at protecting you from seeing things where you don't expect it, e.g to your email account, or a mainstream social media app. This is an adult erotica site. By continuing to use this site there is a reasonable expectation that you will be exposed to x-rated material. The site has provided tools to help you manage your own experience here.

I think this thread has run its course.

This is an adult sex-related site, and by using it, yes, you're probably going to be more exposed to x-rated things, than if you choose not to use it. The site has put tools in place for people to manage unwanted communications, should they wish to use them. There is no lush law against sending an x-rated pic to someone via the internal mail, solicited or otherwise, and I can't see that changing. Some don't like it, some do like it and others just don't care. Personally, I think it's fucking weird. As others have said, if you don't open with that in a bar, don't open with that here. But this is a sex site, and it will not even cross some people's minds that this wouldn't be allowed.

However, we will not tolerate harassment under any circumstances. If someone has been asked to stop and doesn't, this will be investigated and acted upon. You may not find out the outcome of this investigation, or you may not agree with it, but that doesn't mean nothing has happened.

But the first line of defence are the block tools available to you, which we ask all people to make use of, as with any other site on the internet. All the mods are members too and this site is meant to be fun. We don't want to start strictly policing every aspect of people's interactions. Yes, it would be nice if it wasn't a thing, however it would be naive to assume human nature is going to change any time soon.

If you report harassment, it will be investigated. Reports are monitored throughout the day by various mods. Discussions are had about any cases that cause concern, and any permanent bans go through admin, so there is an additional layer of scrutiny. All this reporting activity is logged, as are any outcomes.

There used to be a 'Hide' option but I cannot see that now. If you edit the story it will be removed and placed into your drafts folder which meets your requirements. Should you then wish to relist it you would need to publish again (with a moderator note to say it actually hasn't changed you simply wanted to remove it for a while). Anyway someone else may have a better solution or find the 'Hide' option.

Yeah, editing and saving to your drafts is the way. It will retain scores and comments and it's not a hassle to deal with smile

Do you now have to purchase an upgrade to change your forum signature? I used to know how to do that. I guess I could use a refresher. Thanks.

I don't think you need a subscription. See this thread for a how to smile

I just wanted to address this because it's something we're seeing more and more of, and given the state of the world, I suspect it's only going in one direction.

coughs skynet coughs

This is a writing site, but more than that, it's a community of writers and readers who encourage, feed back to, assist and champion other amateur writers who take time and effort to learn the rules of grammar, hone their craft, edit and edit and edit and then put out something for others to hopefully enjoy.

Plugging something into an AI generator and presenting a story about five seconds later, in my opinion, is just as bad as plagiarism, which is already the top cardinal sin on a writing site.

Thing is though, unlike checking for plagiarism, we're never going to be able to tell your story is AI generated unless you mention it. And I've no doubt that some people just won't care in the slightest that it's not their own work. We can't police it, unfortunately.

So all I can ask is that you please don't. Don't cheat, don't take the easy way, don't pass skynet's generic wank fodder off as your own. Have a go yourself.

Thank you.

Ps. If we do find out your story is AI generated, your story will be returned and you may face an account ban

Bump.

Of course there is the question of whether Australia is an island for the purposes of this competition so anything goes.

It is not.

Absolutely.

Are y'all okay, lol?

There is something special about an island. Isolated or not, they are their own little microcosms of civilization.

We want to read your sexy stories situated on an island. Maybe you’re having a summer getaway to an idyllic adults-only paradise. Maybe you’ve been marooned and washed ashore, not knowing what or who awaits you. Or maybe you’ve uprooted your mainland life in favour of a slower island life.

The setting doesn’t have to be hot, but the stories need to be. We want steamy, sordid details of everything your characters get up to in the bedroom, or the workplace, or the beach... you get the picture.

Stories should be a maximum of 4,000 words (no poetry or micros please) and as always, we encourage you to use our large category list to help with ideas.

This competition will run through May.

Closing date: Saturday May 31st

Announcement date: Monday 9th June Edit: or Tuesday 10th 😇

See link below for full details.

Works okay for me too, straight from my phone pictures.

Anything yet, WW?

No. We will advise if there is an update, thanks.

is there a rough indication of how long it takes to get one's story reviewed and published? Are we generally talking about days, weeks, months?

Usually 2-3 weeks for silver or below. 2-3 days for gold/platinum. there are around 100 in the queue at any given point, but gold/platinum go in at the top. Hope that helps.

Lol, it was fun getting to play for once. My thanks to your laddie for putting up with us, Kimmi. Really enjoyed this - well done to everyone.

❤️🧡💛💚🩷💜💙

These are so fun. Thanks for organising, Kimmi.

Peach

The cooling pie’s aroma permeated the kitchen. My wife sat, feasting on a spare half of ripe peach, watching me.

I was naked. Handcuffed. Hard.

She finished licking her fingers, then used them to pierce the crust, digits disappearing into the hole and withdrawing, sticky.

I whimpered, needily.

She lifted the violated pie and approached me, sliding my cock into the warm peachy goo as I groaned.

“Dessert-time, baby.”

Available for lush authors, you can once again add ebooks to your profile. Please note that you should have posted at least one story here before you can use this function.

Hi. Yesterday used coins to upgrade toa gold membership for a year. It went through fine and I was gold all day yesterday. But today it's showing that I have a non paying membership. I was hoping to get this addressed please. I can see that it took my coins and that it shows that I did upgrade.

That should be you sorted. Sorry about that smile

Happy Sunday, folks. My thanks to the judges for turning this one around so quickly. These may have been short, but this was not an easy ask. Poetry is so very subjective, and it means different things to different people.

That was one of the reasons that this wasn't whittled down to a top ten before the judges got it - it was over to them to whittle it down further. It's a combo of me chickening out but also making other people work more, lol 😇 In all seriousness though, I'd like to thank the judges for their time and insights into what these poems evoked in them.

But without further ado, I will offer my sincerest congrats to Ascendent, who took the top spot with her brilliant take on 'what if'. The Shadow Life takes first place. Closely following on her heels was the beautiful erotic offering, Blind, from Katherine. And third place goes to Henke, with his gorgeous real take on what loving someone is. And Yet... takes bronze. I will be in touch with you all re prizes shortly.

This was a bittersweet one, because it's hard to see a lush poetry competition where we didn't get a masterpiece penned by Elliot, but I'm sure he'd be delighted with the array of talent on show, and in particular, our three worthy winners. Thank you to all who took part, whether just to try your hand, or as way of tribute. The next competition will be back to stories, and will be announced in the next week or so.
